Django on the move

django-logo-positive.gif Well the Django project has had an exciting week this week. Two of the designers for Lawrence.com, Wilson Miner and Jeff Croft, have updated their personal websites to use Django. They both look very sharp. Also, it was announced this week that Django will be participating in the Google Summer of Code project. So, hopefully, that will get the word out about Django as well. Also, related to Google, Google released a tech talk this week over at Google Video of Jacob Kaplan-Moss (one of the developers of Django) explaining Django to a bunch of programmers.

Ah, for those unfamiliar with Django, you can read more about it over at the Django Project web site.
