A professional 10-band graphic equalizer as an AUv3 plugin. Voiced for acoustic guitar, musical on everything — in GarageBand, Loopy Pro, AUM, and any AUv3 host.
About
Ten Band EQ puts ten ISO-standard octave bands from 31 Hz to 16 kHz at your fingertips — each with ±12 dB of cut or boost. Roll off mud with the sweepable high-pass filter, tame harshness with the low-pass, and bring levels back in line with the output trim. No menu-diving. No complexity. Just tone.
Controls
10 BANDS
31 Hz to 16 kHz at standard ISO octave intervals. Every frequency range that matters, exactly where you expect it.
±12 dB
Full ±12 dB range on every band. Double-tap any slider to return it to 0 dB instantly.
HPF
18 dB/oct sweepable from 30 to 200 Hz. Rolls out rumble, stage noise, and low-end mud before it reaches the bands.
LPF
12 dB/oct sweepable from 4 to 20 kHz. Tame harshness or high-frequency noise at the top of the spectrum.
OUT
±12 dB of output gain. Stack several bands of boost and the output trim brings your level back under control.
16 kHz AIR BAND
The top band is a high shelf, not a peak filter. A shelf behaves more musically at 16 kHz — it always sounds like "air."
IN / BYPASS
One toggle switches between processed and dry signal. The red indicator makes bypass state obvious at a glance.
AUv3
Loads as an Audio Unit v3 effect in GarageBand, AUM, Loopy Pro, Cubasis, and any other AUv3-compatible app.
Most graphic EQs have a fixed Q — every band is equally wide no matter how much you cut or boost. Ten Band EQ uses proportional Q: bands are wide and gentle at small adjustments, narrowing and focusing as you push further. Small moves stay smooth. Big moves stay controlled. It's the classic graphic EQ feel that sounds right without overthinking it.
